Lassila & Tikanoja will reorganise its business divisions and reporting segments to support the shift in core business focus and priorities. From 1 January 2013, L&T’s reporting segments are Environmental Services, Industrial Services, Facility Services, and Renewable Energy Sources. The Renewable Energy Sources division reports to the Vice President of Industrial Services. With the change in the divisional structure, the Group Executive Board has been changed as follows:
Petri Salermo (QBA) has been appointed Vice President, Environmental Services, effective from 1 January 2013. Mr. Salermo (born 1970) has served in a number of executive positions in the Environmental Services division since 2004. He is currently responsible for the division’s business operations in southern Finland. Pekka Ojanpää, President and CEO, will continue as the acting Vice President, Environmental Services, in addition to performing his own duties, until the end of 2012.
Ville Rantala (M.Sc. Econ.) has been appointed Vice President, Industrial Services from 1 January 2013. Mr. Rantala (born 1971) is currently L&T’s Chief Financial Officer and Vice President, Renewable Energy Sources. A new CFO will be appointed later.
Petri Myllyniemi (M.Sc. Econ.; B.Sc. Eng.) has been appointed Vice President, Facility Services, effective from 7 January 2013. Mr. Myllyniemi (born 1964) joins L&T from ISS Palvelut Oy, where he served as the director of the Uusimaa region customer accounts business unit.
All three Vice Presidents report to President and CEO Pekka Ojanpää.
Other members of the Group Executive Board are Antti Tervo, Chief Procurement Officer; Tuomas Mäkipeska, Business Development Director; and Kirsi Matero, HR Director.
For the time being, Juha Simola and Henri Turunen will continue to act as the Vice Presidents of the current Property Maintenance and Cleaning and Office Support Services divisions and as members of the Group Executive Board.
