L&T aims to ensure that the company’s operations involve no serious damage or offences. We emphasise the importance of compliance with laws and regulations in our business operations. 

Fair and reliable operations

In our administration, we comply with Finnish legislation, our Articles of Association, the rules and regulations of Nasdaq Helsinki and the Finnish Corporate Governance Code for listed companies. Our operations are also guided by the policies and operating principles approved by the Board of Directors or the Group Executive Board as well as our environmental permits. We require a responsible approach from both our personnel and suppliers.

Sustainability of the supply chain

L&T also requires its suppliers and subcontractors to act responsibly in all their operations. Suppliers must commit to L&T's supplier guidelines and develop their operations in accordance with them.

Human rights risk assessment

L&T's goal is to offer everyone the opportunity for dignified work. We work every day to ensure that no human rights violations occur in our operations. We take any deviations with the seriousness they require. As part of our human rights efforts, we have conducted a comprehensive assessment of the human rights impacts and risks of our operations. The assessment covers the entire value chain.
