L&T's goal is to offer everyone the opportunity for dignified work. We work every day to ensure that no human rights violations occur in our operations. We take any deviations with the seriousness they require. As part of our human rights efforts, we have conducted a comprehensive assessment of the human rights impacts and risks of our operations. The assessment includes the identification of human rights impacts and risks.

L&T's human rights risk assessment process involves the identification and evaluation of human rights impacts and potential risks.

The assessment takes into account the severity and likelihood of identified potential human rights risks, identifies vulnerable groups, and considers the scope, seriousness, and remediability of the impacts. Based on this, the most significant human rights impacts in the company's operations have been identified.

Requirements for suppliers

L&T requires that our goods and service suppliers are committed to adhering to L&T's Code of Conduct, which outlines key human rights requirements for suppliers.

At the same time, we expect these requirements to be communicated further down the supply chain. Compliance is monitored through dialogue, self-assessments targeted at suppliers, and audits.

Corrective actions

In situations where human rights have been violated, we will immediately initiate an investigation to address the issue. Corrective actions depend on the nature of the issue and will be agreed upon in collaboration with the relevant party.

Cooperation with the partner will not be immediately terminated; rather, we aim to resolve the situation together. However, if the partner fails to demonstrate a willingness to correct the identified shortcomings, cooperation may be discontinued.
